For the month of October at BEC, we will be having a special focus upon personal evangelism, making use of Willow Creek’s Just Walk Across the Room course resource.

Just Walk Across the Room explores a natural and empowering approach to evangelism modelled after Jesus himself. Drawing on fresh perspectives and intimate testimonies from those whose lives have been transformed, this course will encourage and equip us to leave our circles of comfort, develop friendships, discover stories, and take the simple steps needed to point people towards faith in Jesus Christ.

In addition to Sunday morning teaching we will be having mid-week sessions at church too (replacing normal small groups for October), and we’d encourage everyone to attend one session a week if possible. The details of the mid-week sessions are as follows:

Sessions are DVD-based, with opportunities for reflection and discussion. There will be coffee. There will be cake. We hope we will see you there.
