Making the Bible a Priority

So life is busy, crazy hectic, full to bursting. Much of the 'stuff' of life is good stuff - but amidst it all we need to be prioritising our relationship with God, and ensuring that we are doing what we should be doing to better connect with him. A great way of doing this is to get stuck into our Bibles.

We're running the Bible Course at church after Easter and we've been telling you how great it is. But don't just take our word for it. Here are some testimonials from others who have been on the course:

I used to get whisky for Father’s Day but this year I asked for a Bible! This course helped me come to faith and now I read the Bible every day. (Simon Sullivan Fire Safety Engineer)

Our whole church did the Bible Course and we’re still feeling the benefits…new understanding, new confidence, new passion. Everyone should do it! (David Jones Pastor of Explore Church (Soul Survivor))

This Course has given me a whole new feeling about the Bible. It used to seem inaccessible and dull. But now I have understood the context and background of the Bible, I am a lot more confident to read it for myself. (Roberta Mathieson Creative Arts Educator)

In these days of increasing biblical illiteracy, there is a pressing need to not just teach the Bible, but to do so in a way that is accessible, dynamic, and relevant to contemporary life. The Bible Course meets this need and I wholeheartedly commend it. (Rev. Greg Downes Theologian and Author)

We often read the Bible in a haphazard way with little awareness of how it all fits together. The Bible Course gives the ‘bigger picture’ and enables each participant to engage with God’s book. I recommend every leader to use it in their context. (Rev. John Townley Leader of the Free Methodist Church)

So there you have it - we're not the only ones saying how valuable the Bible Course is!

We really do hope you will consider coming along and getting more to grips with God's Word. We're confident it will be a real blessing and help to you in your daily life with God.
