Kidz Klub Banner

Kidz Klub is a fast-paced, action-packed children’s club in Blandford.  There are messy games, prizes, competitions, pantomine, singing and dancing.  The Christian faith and good citizenship are promoted throughout the club.  It’s for all children in reception to year 6 and everyone is welcome.  It takes place on the last Saturday of each month from 10:00 til 11:30am and costs just £1 per child!  Parents are also welcome to stay and enjoy a free cuppa in the coffee lounge whilst the club is going on. To find out when the next Klub is, please see our church calendar.

While having fun we like to help people too

At Kidz Klub we love helping people so every term we raise money for a charity.  This term’s charity is the Bethesda Project.  The project raises money so that children in other countries can receive an education.  If parents would like to donate any money towards this great cause, there will be a donation pot in the coffee lounge on Kidz Klub days.  If children would like to donate money to the Bethesda Project, there will be a strip of penny paper on the stage at each Klub. You can give 1 penny or some more pennies to help these children, to provide them food and much more.

You will hear the most amazing true stories

Every term Kidz Klub will be learning about the Bible and how it can help us.  This term we are learning what it means to live for God and the difference it makes in our lives.    Every Klub we learn about the Four Main Points:  God loves me, I have sinned, Jesus dies for me and Will I decide to live for him?  If you are a child or adult who would like to know more about what it means to live for Jesus, just ask at the Klub or contact us.

Each month we run a competition where the kids can win great prizes. For their chance to win they must complete the competition sheet which can be downloaded here.

More details about Kidz Klub

The idea of Kidz Klub came from New York, USA. It was started by Bill Wilson in 1980. It now reaches over 20,000 children each week across New York. Please visit Metro Ministries website to find out more details.

Kidz Klub came to the UK in 1993, when a group from Frontline Church in Liverpool visited Metro Ministries in Brooklyn. Now there are many Kidz Klubs across England.

Here, at Blandford Evangelical Church we launched our first Kidz Klub in January 2012. We aim to help children by showing them that we care for them, we accept them, regardless of their background, behaviour or beliefs.  One way we try to achieve this is by visiting every child who attends Kidz Klub every month to promote the Klub and to build relationships.

We want to give children a fantastic, fun time. We do this through games, competitions, pantomime and much more. We explore and explain the Christian faith and encourage them to live a lifestyle based on Christian values and promote good citizenship. Kidz Klub welcomes children from all backgrounds regardless of culture or religion. However, members of the Klub must be attending school in year groups reception up to Year 6.
